Subscribe to our YouTube channel! NBC6 South Florida A man is accused of using a cellphone to secretly record an 11-year-old girl through a bathroom window at a Weston home Sunday night, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Authorities identified the suspect as Joel Luis Rivera, 27. The girl noticed a cellphone outside the bathroom window with its camera facing inside and screamed, alerting her family, the arrest report states. During questioning, Rivera told investigators he had gone behind the home to “go by the lake” and ran back after hearing someone scream. Surveillance video captured Rivera getting out of a pickup truck with a cellphone and walking toward the home before running back a short time later, authorities said. The cellphone in Rivera’s possession also matched the description provided by the girl. Additional surveillance footage from other dates showed an individual matching Rivera’s description walking toward the same home with a cellphone
